Edit a Data Table

To edit a Data Table, so that you can specify the fields that you want to include in the table:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients).
2. Double-click on the Data Table in the Database Bar (if you are logged on as a user that has the Double Click Edits Documents feature enabled).
   The Data Table is displayed in Design mode.

or:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients).
2. Right-click on the Data Table in the Database Bar.
   A context sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Edit Data Table option.
   The Data Table is displayed in Design mode.

   

When editing a Data Table, you can:

• Add Fields to a Data Table
• Edit an Existing Field
• Specify the Field Properties
• Delete a Field from a Data Table.
