Use the Point Form to specify any additional data retrieval-related configuration for each point. The field(s) for this additional configuration can vary per driver and per outstation—for details, see the Point Configuration sections in the driver-specific documentation.
Typically, if an outstation supports logged data, you specify if data for a particular point is to be logged at the outstation and if so, the type of data that is to be logged. Some outstations also support timed reporting of data, for which you need to specify the frequency with which the reports occur.
