Tabs on File Upload Forms
File Upload Forms have several ‘tabs’ for configuring different aspects of File Upload information. For drivers that support File Uploading, a combination of these tabs is available:
- Identification—Use to optionally define a Help View and to indicate whether the File Upload is to be excluded from any Exclusive Control activity (see Defining Identification Details in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Configuration).
- User Methods—Use to define any custom pick actions (‘methods’) for the File Upload (see Using the User Methods Tab to Define Custom Actions in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Configuration).
- Alarm—Use to define optional features associated with any File Upload alarms (see Defining an Item or Group’s Alarm Properties in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Configuration).
- Redirection—Use to define any alarm redirections for the File Upload (see Configure Alarm Redirections for an Item or Group in the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarm Redirection).
- File Upload—Use to Specify the File Upload Settings.
- Historic—Use to Specify the Length of Time that a File Upload Report is Retained on the Server.
This section explains the features on the File Upload and Historic tabs that are common to File Uploads on several drivers.
For aspects of File Upload configuration that are common to most types of database item, see the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Configuration.
For aspects of File Upload configuration that are specific to individual drivers, see the ClearSCADA driver-specific documentation.
