Add an EWS Forecast

To add an Advanced EWS Forecast item to the ClearSCADA database:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients).
2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the System or Group for which you want to add a new Advanced EWS Forecast item.
   A context-sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Create New option.
   A further menu is displayed.
4. Select the Advanced EWS option.
   A further menu is displayed.
5. Select the EWS Forecast option.
   An EWS Forecast item is added to the root of the System or to the selected Group (depending on your selection in step 2). It is selected automatically, ready for you to enter its name.
6. Enter a suitable name for the EWS Forecast (taking into account the ClearSCADA Naming Restrictions).
7. Press the Enter key or select another part of the ViewX interface to confirm the entry.

Once you have added a Forecast, you need to Configure the EWS Forecast Properties.
