Modbus Controllers, including Generic Modbus controllers, that have the ability to act as Modbus Masters, can be configured to send an unsolicited message to ClearSCADA, to request an ‘immediate’ poll (see Specify Whether a Channel Uses Unsolicited PLC Functionality).
