Specify the Set Address

ClearSCADA uses a Set Address to identify each Modbus controller that dials in to the system, or uses a remote connection to communicate with ClearSCADA. The Set Address defines the group to which each controller belongs. The address is used internally by ClearSCADA—it does not exist in the controller hardware.

Use the Set Address field on the Modbus tab to specify the address of the set:

ClearSCADA automatically allocates the next available address to a set, whenever a set is created in the database. The allocated address is displayed when you open the Form.

If you want to specify a particular address, overwrite the entry in the Set Address field.
