Configure a Redirection Action
You need to configure a separate redirection action for each different redirection that you require, for example, a separate E-mail action for each different e-mail message that needs sending.
To add and configure a redirection action:
- Add a Redirection Action.
- Display the Action Form.
- Configure the Properties on the Action Tab.
- Define the properties specific to the type of redirection that you are configuring, either:
- Save the configuration (see Saving Configuration Changes in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Configuration).
If you are using the redirection actions in an Action Roster or an alarm redirection Calendar, you need to configure that roster (see Configure an Action Roster) or calendar (see Configure an Alarm Redirection Calendar).
You can then attach the Redirection Action, Action Roster or alarm redirection Calendar to a database item to redirect the alarms for that item (see Configure Alarm Redirections for an Item or Group).
NOTE: ClearSCADA also supports alarm suppression, whereby alarms raised on certain items are omitted from alarm displays while a specific alarm on another item is active. For more information, see Alarm Suppression in the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarms.
