Alarms on Other Displays

In addition to Alarms Lists and the Alarm Banner, various other displays in ClearSCADA also indicate whether an item is in alarm. Such displays include Mimics, Status displays, Queries Lists, and Events Lists. The rest of this section contains information about:

NOTE: A Mimic or other display might indicate that an item is in alarm, without such an alarm appearing in the Alarms List or Alarm Banner. This occurs if access to that particular alarm be restricted by, for example, alarm suppression or alarm redirection (see Restrict Alarm Access). Such restrictions allow you to be aware of the alarm situation, but not perform an action on that particular alarm. You can typically only Perform an Action on an Alarm if that alarm appears in an Alarms List or the Alarm Banner.
