Specify whether Columns Flash in the Alarms List and Alarm Banner
Each alarm severity range can be configured to use a flashing effect for the foreground color. The flashing effect is designed to attract users’ attention to alarms. By using the Options window, you can choose which columns can display the flashing effect.
- Log on via a user account that has the Configure Options permission, and display the Options window (see Display the Options Window in the ClearSCADA Guide to Client Administration).
- Select the Alarms and Events tab.
- Use the Flashing Column combo box to specify which column(s) on the Alarms Lists and the Alarm Banner can apply flashing. The default is for All columns to apply the flashing effect, but you can specify a single named column, or choose None to stop all of the columns from flashing.
- Select the OK button to confirm your selection.
