The Enable Alarms and Disable Alarms actions are available for all items that can have alarms. (For items to be able to have alarms, the Alarms feature has to be enabled on your server).
To access the Disable Alarms or Enable Alarms action for an item, you need to log on via a user account that has the Disable Alarms permission.
If you have the Disable Alarms permission, you can access the:
- Disable Alarms action for any item that has its alarms enabled (you also need permissions to access the item).
- Enable Alarms action for any item that has its alarms disabled (you also need permissions to access the item). However, on systems that have Independent enabled, Enable Alarms may appear to have no effect. For more information, see Enable Alarms - Independent Enabled on the Server.
