32-Bit Applications on 64-Bit Windows
64-bit PCs have two ODBC Data Source Administrator Tools - one for 32-bit applications and one for 64-bit applications. If you are using a 32-bit application on a 64-bit PC, you need to use the 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool to set up ODBC access.
You can use Microsoft Windows Explorer to access the 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool:
- In Windows, execute the following command:
%WINDIR%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
This command will cause the 32-Bit ODBC Data Source Administrator Tool to run.
