Add a Custom State Color

To add a custom state color to the ClearSCADA database:

  1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients).
  2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the Group or System to which you want to add a Custom Color.
A context sensitive menu is displayed.
  3. Select the Create New option.
    A further menu is displayed.
  4. Select the Other option.
    A further menu is displayed.
  5. Select the Custom Color option.
A Custom Color item is added to the selected Group or System (depending on your selection in step 1). The Custom Color is selected automatically, ready for you to define its name.
  6. Enter a suitable name for the Custom Color (taking into account the ClearSCADA Naming Restrictions).
  7. Press the Enter key or select another part of the ViewX display to confirm the name entry.

Once you have added a Custom Color, you can use the Custom Color Form to configure the color (see Configure a Custom State Color).

To use the Custom Color, you need to associate it with the Point or Forecast State(s) with which it is to be used (see Associate a Custom Color with a Point or Forecast State).
