Edit a Data Set

To edit a Data Set, so that you can specify the fields that you want to include in the table.

Either:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients).
2. Double-click on the Data Set in the Database Bar (if you are logged on as a user that has the Double Click Edits Documents feature enabled).
   The Data Set is displayed in Design mode.

   

   or:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients).
2. Right-click on the Data Set in the Database Bar.
   A context sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Edit Data Set option.
   The Data Set is displayed in Design mode.

When editing a Data Set, you can:

• Add Fields to a Data Set
• Edit a Data Set Existing Field
• Specify the Data Set Field Properties
• Delete a Field from a Data Set
