User database items can be exported and imported in the same way as all database items. However, as these are security related database items they behave differently to other database items.
- Exporting User items—When you export one or more user database items the configuration of those items is included in the export, but all passwords associated with each user item are replaced with randomized passwords (see Export Database Items).
- Importing User items—When you import and create one or more user database items the configuration of those items is included in the import, but all passwords associated with each user item contain randomized passwords. (see Import Database Items).
If you try to import one or more user database items into a database that already contains those items, then those items are not imported and the existing user database items remain unaffected.
