Locate the Item to Which a Message Relates

If a message in the Messages window is associated with an individual database item, you can locate that item in the relevant Explorer Bar. To do this:

1. Right-click on the message in the Messages window.
   A context-sensitive menu is displayed.
2. Select the Locate in Explorer option.
   Providing that your User Account is assigned the necessary permissions and access, ClearSCADA displays the appropriate Explorer Bar if it is not already on display. It then highlights the relevant database item in that Explorer Bar (typically the Database Bar).

Also be aware that a notification indicator is shown in the Database Bar next to a database item for which messages exist in the Messages window (other than invalid configuration messages).
