Priority of Outstation Foreground Colors

This chart indicates which advanced driver outstation status takes precedence over another, and therefore which core system foreground color is assigned to an outstation at any particular time:

As such, if a PSTN outstation:

the outstation’s foreground color will be brown, by default, to indicate that Dial In is disabled on that outstation (unless a driver-specific state applies, which takes priority over the Dial In Disabled state). However, should ClearSCADA dial out to the outstation, the outstation’s color will change to a flashing blue (the Outstation Connecting color) while ClearSCADA establishes communications with that outstation. Once communications is established, the color will revert to the Dial In Disabled color (unless a driver-specific state and color takes priority), while Dial In remains disabled.
