Use the Add Action Window to Specify the One Shot Method

This example demonstrates how to use the Add Action window to specify the One Shot method (action) on a Schedule. The method is associated with the PSTN aggregate.

Example:

At specific times (triggered by a Schedule), ClearSCADA is to send a One Shot request to a PSTN outstation, in order to retrieve the data from that outstation.

As the One Shot method is associated with an outstation’s PSTN aggregate, the PSTN Aggregate is specified in the Add Action window. This restricts the entries in the Method combo list to those methods (actions) that are associated with the PSTN aggregate.

The One Shot method is then selected from the Method combo box. The method does not have any arguments.
