Some analog points have different types of alarm limit to those explained in this guide. The Procedure for Configuring an Analog Point’s Limits is very similar, regardless of the type of limit. The driver guides explain any limits that are driver-specific.
Analog points can also be configured to:
- Have two sets of alarm limits (see Multiple Alarm Limits)
- Use a separate set of limits at the server (see Master Station Alarm Limits)
- Have Multiple Point State Alarms (in which case an additional Alarm column is displayed in the Alarm Limits section of the Point Form).
