Configuring a DNP3 Outstation Set

The ClearSCADA DNP3 Driver supports these types of DNP3 outstation set:

You specify the properties of each set using the fields on the appropriate DNP3 Outstation Set Form.

Each Form has several tabs.

This section describes the properties that are available on the DNP3 tab. These properties allow you to Specify the Address of a DNP3 Master Set. The tab only applies to sets that are used when ClearSCADA is the master DNP3 device.

Properties on the other tabs are common to outstation sets on many advanced drivers—for information, see Configuring an Outstation Set in the ClearSCADA Guide to Advanced Drivers.

For information on the minimal amount of configuration that you can undertake to produce a functional DNP3 Outstation Set in ClearSCADA, see Minimum Configuration.

For more information on the possible physical arrangements for DNP3 devices on
a ClearSCADA system, see Introduction to the DNP3 Driver.
