Use the fields within the Local Pre/Post Amble section of the DNP3 tab to specify whether ClearSCADA is to use different pre- or post-amble bytes to those specified for the channel (see Configure the Pre-Amble and Post-Amble Message Strings).
- Enabled—Select this check box if the pre-amble and post-amble bytes defined on the Channel Form are to be overridden by the settings specified in this section.

- Clear the Enabled check box to set ClearSCADA to use the pre-amble and post-amble defaults that are specified for the channel (see Configure the Pre-Amble and Post-Amble Message Strings).
