The Out of Range RTU Event field is displayed at the bottom of the Alarm Limits section on the Analog Point tab:
- Out of Range RTU Event—Applies only if a point’s Point Data Class is set to Class 1 Event, Class 2 Event or Class 3 Event (see Configure Common Properties of DNP3 SCADAPack Points).
Use the Out of Range RTU Event combo box to specify whether the SCADAPack E outstation just stores the event, or immediately generates an unsolicited message whenever the point’s value becomes Underrange, Overrange, or Invalid(see Specify Whether a Class n Event Triggers an Unsolicited Message).
NOTE: If the Area of Interest feature is enabled on your system, an Area of Interest field is displayed below the Out of Range RTU Event field.
