Administrative Overview

You are provided with the following set of administrative tools to help you configure and manage your ClearSCADA installation:

Server Configuration
The ClearSCADA Server Configuration Tool provides you with tools to configure the ClearSCADA server specific features, such Database file locations, Log files and security.

Server Icon
The Server Icon allows you to start and stop your database, it also provides you with access to database maintenance tools and licensing management.

Server Status
The Server Status Tool helps you to check the status of your system and investigate unexpected system behavior. This tool is designed to provide you with the current system state and current system activity and can be used to diagnose unexpected occurrences on your system.

Service Manager
The Service Manager Tool allows you to start and stop the ClearSCADA services when required. You may need to start, stop, and restart the ClearSCADA server when you make changes to certain parts of the server configuration.

Configure Connections
The ClearSCADA Client Tool allows you to configure clients and their settings to communicate to the ClearSCADA server.

Database Manager
The Database Manager Tool allows you to manage multiple ClearSCADA servers on a single computer. By using the Database Manager, you can add, setup and remove the 'database instances' that represent each individual ClearSCADA database server.
