ICMP Config Alarm
Associated with: ICMP Digital Points
The ICMP Config Alarm attribute indicates whether the point configuration contains an invalid IP address or node name. (This error is only detected when the driver attempts to poll the specified device—any other configuration errors are detected by the server, at the time that the configuration is saved.)
Possible States: Displays one of the Standard Alarm States. If an alarm state is displayed, this is followed by the time and date at which the alarm occurred.
Example:
Enabled Active Fleeting at 31/Oct/2006 at 11:52:09.637
If an alarm state is displayed, use the Events or Alarms List to ascertain further information about the cause of the alarm. You can filter either List so that it only shows those entries that are specifically related to such an alarm (see ICMP Specific Alarm and Event Categories).
