Configuring IEC 60870-5 KEMA Counter Points
The IEC 60870-5 KEMA driver supports Counter points. A Counter Point is an analog type point that increases or decreases in value over time and can be reset. For example, a counter point might monitor the MW of power generated.
Use IEC 60870-5 KEMA Counter points to map analog data for use within ClearSCADA.
Each Form has several tabs. This section covers the configuration of properties on the Analog Point and KEMA tabs.
For the IEC 60870-5 KEMA Counter Points, use the Analog Point tab to:
- Configure Configure Common IEC 60870-5 KEMA Point Properties
- Configure the Alarm Limits (see Alarms Limits in the IEC 60870-5 Driver Guide)
- Configure any Alarm Limit Profiles (see Specify any Alarm Limit Profiles in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure Point Scaling (see Configure Point Scaling in the IEC 60870-5 Driver Guide)
- Configure the Point Formatting (see Define the Appearance of an Analog Point’s Values in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Override Properties (see Define whether an Analog Point can be Overridden in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Significant Change Properties (see Define the Criteria for a Significant Change in Value in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the No Change Properties (see Detect whether an Analog Point has Stopped Changing in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Trend Properties (see Define an Analog Point’s Trend Settings in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Logged Data Properties (see Processing Alarm Data for Point States in the ClearSCADA Guide to Advanced Drivers).
- Configure the Cause of Transmission properties (see Specify how ClearSCADA Interprets an Input Point’s Cause of Transmission in the IEC 60870-5 Driver Guide).
- Configure the Historic Data Filter properties (see Specify the Type of Point Data that ClearSCADA is to Store Historically in the IEC 60870-5 Driver Guide).
Use the KEMA tab to:
- Configure the Point Index number Configuring Properties on the KEMA Tab.
For information on the properties on other tabs, see Tabs on Point Forms in the ClearSCADA Guide to Advanced Drivers.
