IEC 60870-5-101

The IEC 60870-5-101 protocol is a serial based communications protocol. The protocol is designed for use on systems that use permanent direct connections between the Controlling Station (SCADA master) and the Controlled Station(s) (outstations or slaves, including ClearSCADA).

When communicating using the IEC 60870-5-101 protocol, a channel will typically have a Serial Connection Type (specified on the Connection tab of the IEC 60870-5 Slave Direct Channel Form) and use these settings:
