Kingfisher Outstation Communicating Directly with ClearSCADA

Using the Kingfisher protocol, the ClearSCADA system can act as a Kingfisher Master and poll a Kingfisher outstation.

For this scenario, within ClearSCADA you need to configure a Kingfisher Channel (as appropriate to the type of communications being used), a Kingfisher Outstation Set, and a Kingfisher Outstation. You also need to configure points in the database, to correspond to the points in the Kingfisher outstation. For further information, see Kingfisher Master Configuration.

Example:

In the diagram below, ClearSCADA is using the Kingfisher protocol to communicate with a Kingfisher outstation. The points configured for the Kingfisher outstation in the ClearSCADA database correspond to the points that reside in that outstation.
