Filter Wildcards

When the Is Like or Is Not Like Filter Condition Types are used to filter a List such as an Events List, Alarm Summary, Queries List, or Historic List, you can include wildcard characters in the filter criteria. Wildcard characters allow a single filter value to match multiple ClearSCADA database values. There are two wildcard characters:

To include a wildcard character in a search without causing the wildcard to match other characters, enter a backslash (\) before the wildcard character. For example PUMP\_1 will only match PUMP_1, and will not match PUMP11, or PUMPA1.

Add a Filter to a List.

(The filter wildcards that are supported by Alarms Lists and Alarm Banner differ to the above—for information, see Filter Wildcards in the ClearSCADA Guide to Alarms.)
