This section summarizes those options that affect Historic Lists on a system-wide basis. Such options, if required to differ from the defaults, should be specified on each server when a ClearSCADA system is first installed. The options are specified using the ClearSCADA Server Configuration Tool.
You can use the ClearSCADA Server Configuration Tool to specify:
- The Historic Data settings, including the duration for which historic data is retained online, and the maximum number of records that can be returned in a historic query (see Historic Data Storage Settings in the ClearSCADA Guide to Server Administration).
- The Location at which ClearSCADA stores historic data (see Locations of the Database Folders in the ClearSCADA Guide to Server Administration).
