Add a Connection Block to a Function Block Diagram
You can use connection blocks to group multiple connection lines. The connection blocks work in a similar way to the OR function block—if any of the inputs from the connection block are true, the output of the connection block is true. Connection blocks are designed to reduce the clutter on your Logic diagrams.
To add a connection block to a Function Block Diagram:
- Right-click on the background of the diagram to display a context sensitive menu.
- Select the Add Connection Block option.
A new connection block is added to the diagram.
You can connect single or multiple connection lines to the input and output connection boxes on the connection block. The system will group the lines automatically so that the lines are clear and the diagram is uncluttered.
