Create an ST Library

Before you can configure an ST library to represent a custom function block, you need to create an ST library database item. The database item will be used to store the configuration settings for the ST library.

To create an ST library:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar in the ClearSCADA Guide to ViewX and WebX Clients).
2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the system, Group, or Group Template that is to contain the ST library.
   A context sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Create New option, then the Logic option, then the Structured Text Library option.
   A new ST library item is added to the tree-structure. It is selected automatically, ready for you to define its name.
4. Enter a suitable name, then press the Enter key or select another part of the interface to confirm your selection.
