Keyboard Shortcuts
You can use the following keyboard shortcuts when designing a Mimic:
- Alt—Hold an Alt key when moving, resizing, or adding an object to disable the snap to grid feature. (Design mode).
- Alt+Double-click—Select the next object in order.
- Shift:
- Hold a Shift key when adding an object to force a 1:1 size ratio.
- Hold a Shift key when adding a straight line to force an angle of 15°.
- Hold a Shift key when resizing to maintain the current aspect ratio.
- Ctrl—Hold a Ctrl key when you need to select multiple objects. Keep the Ctrl key pressed down as you select the objects in turn.
- Ctrl+G—Toggle the grid on and off.
- Ctrl+M—Make Group.
- Ctrl+B—Break Group.
- Ctrl+R—Toggle Run/Design Mode.
- Ctrl+Up—Bring Forward.
- Ctrl+Down—Send Backward.
- Ctrl+Shift+Up—Bring to Front.
- Ctrl+Shift+Down—Send to Back.
- Ctrl+L—Next Layer.
- Ctrl+Shift+L—Previous Layer.
NOTE: The standard Windows keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+C for copy are also available.
