Keyboard Shortcuts

You can use the following keyboard shortcuts when designing a Mimic:

• Alt—Hold an Alt key when moving, resizing, or adding an object to disable the snap to grid feature. (Design mode).
• Alt+Double-click—Select the next object in order.
• Shift:
  • Hold a Shift key when adding an object to force a 1:1 size ratio.
  • Hold a Shift key when adding a straight line to force an angle of 15°.
  • Hold a Shift key when resizing to maintain the current aspect ratio.
• Ctrl—Hold a Ctrl key when you need to select multiple objects. Keep the Ctrl key pressed down as you select the objects in turn.
• Ctrl+G—Toggle the grid on and off.
• Ctrl+M—Make Group.
• Ctrl+B—Break Group.
• Ctrl+R—Toggle Run/Design Mode.
• Ctrl+Up—Bring Forward.
• Ctrl+Down—Send Backward.
• Ctrl+Shift+Up—Bring to Front.
• Ctrl+Shift+Down—Send to Back.
• Ctrl+L—Next Layer.
• Ctrl+Shift+L—Previous Layer.
