Configuring a Mitsubishi Slave Channel

Mitsubishi Slave Channels are used to provide ClearSCADA with additional connection information, so that the ClearSCADA server can successfully communicate with its Master, using the Mitsubishi MELSEC A protocol.

Specify the features for each channel by using the fields on the Mitsubishi Slave Channel Form.

The Mitsubishi Slave Channel Form has several tabs.

Use the fields on the Channel tab to Configure the Basic Channel Properties.

Mitsubishi Slave Channels use RS-232/RS-485 serial communications. Use the fields on the Connection tab of the Form to specify the required properties for a Slave Channel’s serial connection (see Configure a Channel’s Serial Connection Properties in the ClearSCADA Guide to Drivers).

For information on the fields on other tabs, see Tabs That are Common to Many Configuration Forms in the ClearSCADA Guide to Simple Drivers.
