For network connected channels, this attribute displays the address of the PLC or Modbus device to which the scanner is connected.
For serial comms, this attribute displays the Serial Port.
Example:
10.1.5.30
for a network connected scanner communicating with a device that has an IP address of 10.1.5.30.
