Source

Associated with: NTP Monitor scanners and points

The Source attribute is common to many Status displays. The attribute indicates the location at which the item resides. The information shown varies, depending on the item.

The Source attribute displays the value Undefined if the item’s configuration is incomplete, in so far as the device with which the item is associated has not yet been specified.

For NTP Monitor Scanners, information is displayed in this format:

Node <NTP Server>

Example:

Node SVR1

(Indicating that the NTP device that an NTP Monitor Scanner is monitoring is the node (workstation) SVR1.)

For NTP Monitor Points, information is displayed in this format:

Node <NTP Server>:<Tag>

Example:

Node SVR1:System.stratum

(For an NTP Monitor analog point that is monitoring the stratum level of node (workstation) SVR1.)
