For an ODBC Query to become functional (online), you need to:
- Specify the ODBC Connection that ClearSCADA uses to send the Query to the other application
- Enter the SQL program code that specifies the data that is to be transferred between the two databases, and how that data is to be handled (for example, whether it is to be retrieved).
You also need to put the query In Service and save the configuration.
These are the minimum requirements and, when defined, will result in a functional query that uses the default configuration settings.
