Common Point Properties
Use the fields at the top of the Counter Point tab to Configure Common Point Properties. Fields that are specific to SCADAPack 50 counter points are described below:
- Point Identity—Specify the name of the device point that you want this ClearSCADA counter point to represent. Select the option you require from the combo box.
ATTENTION:The Point Identity corresponds to the Var Name on the relevant device Channel (V1-V8). A device Channel is called a Point in ClearSCADA. For more information, see the SCADAPack 50 device documentation.
- Multiplier—Specify the amount by which ClearSCADA should multiply a value to covert it to an engineering value.
Example:
You might set the Multiplier to 0.1.
ClearSCADA applies this scaling to produce an engineering value.
For example, to scale a value of 45, ClearSCADA multiplies this value by 0.1. It then stores the result (that is, 4.5) in the ClearSCADA database.
