Configuring SCADAPack 50 Digital Points
ClearSCADA represents a SCADAPack 50 device digital point with a ClearSCADA Digital Point database item. A device digital point represents data that is in a particular state - for example, on or off.
You configure the properties for each Digital Point database item by using the fields on a SCADAPack 50 Digital Point Form.
The Form has a number of tabs. This section describes how you configure the properties on:
- The Digital Point tab
- The Device Point tab.
The properties on the other tabs are common to many drivers (see Tabs on Point Forms in the ClearSCADA Guide to Advanced Drivers).
Use the Digital Point tab to:
- Configure Common Point Properties
- Configure Point State Properties
- Define Override Properties (see Define whether a Digital Point can be Overridden in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration).
- Define Trend Properties (see Define a Digital Point's Trend Settings in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration).
Use the Device Point tab to Configure SCADAPack 50 Device Point Properties.
