A Flow Extension is an intermediate value that is derived from a flow calculation. Flow editing software uses the Flow Extension value in its re-calculations if an incorrect measurement is made (for example, if communications is lost with a flow computer, but the flow is still running properly). The Flow Extension attribute is displayed once the server has retrieved Flow Run data from a RealFLO-enabled SCADAPack controller. The displayed value is in kg/m3s.
