Specify the Item of Flow Run Data that a RealFLO Analog Represents

This section indicates which items of Flow Run data you can configure a RealFLO Analog Input point to represent.

Many items of Flow Run data are available directly from the Flow Run itself—to enable users to view such data, you can attach the Flow Run properties to a display, such as a Mimic, or a Trend. (In such cases, you only need to associate the data with an Analog point if you want ClearSCADA to further process or store the Flow Run data—for more information, see View and Process Flow Run Data.)

Some items of Flow Run data are not available directly from the Flow Run database item—they are calculated using the Flow Run’s configuration, but are stored internally. To view or process these items of data in ClearSCADA, you need to configure a RealFLO Analog Input point. These items of data are listed in this section.

To process an item of Flow Run data independently in ClearSCADA, or to view an item of Flow Run data that is not directly available from the Flow Run Form, you can add and configure a SCADAPack Modbus RealFLO Analog Input point(see Configure the General RealFLO Analog Point Properties).

To define which item of Flow Run data a RealFLO Analog Input point represents, you need to specify:

You configure each of the above, using the appropriate fields at the top of the Analog Point tab on the Point Form (see Configure the General RealFLO Analog Point Properties).

You can configure a RealFLO Analog Input point to represent:
