With ClearSCADA’s SE RPC driver, you use:
- Generic Advanced Modbus Analog Input points to retrieve current analog data from an SE Rod Pump controller (see Configuring Analog Points in the ClearSCADA Guide to the Advanced Modbus Driver).
- SE RPC Analog Input points to retrieve analog data that is stored historically on an SE Rod Pump controller. (SE RPC points are designed to process only historic data.) ClearSCADA retrieves the historic data at the 'Historic Data Poll Interval' specified on the SE RPC outstation Form (see Define the Historic Data Poll Interval).
You configure the properties of each SE RPC Analog Input point using fields on the SE RPC Analog Input Point Form.
This section covers configuration of properties on the Analog Point tab of the SE RPC Analog Input Point Form. For information on the fields on other tabs, see Tabs on Point Forms in the ClearSCADA Guide to Advanced Drivers.
For SE RPC Analog Input points, use the Analog Point tab to:
- Configure the Common Point Properties
- Configure the Alarm Limits
- Configure any Alarm Limit Profiles (see Specify any Alarm Limit Profiles in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Point Scaling
- Specify the Point Formatting (see Define the Appearance of an Analog Point’s Values in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Specify the Override Properties (see Define whether an Analog Point can be Overridden in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Specify the Significant Change Properties (see Define the Criteria for a Significant Change in Value in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the No Change Properties (see Detect whether an Analog Point has Stopped Changing in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Specify the Trend Properties (see Define an Analog Point’s Trend Settings in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Logged Data Properties (see Processing Alarm Data for Point States in the ClearSCADA Guide to Advanced Drivers).
