Minimum Configuration

For an SE Rod Pump controller to be capable of functioning in ClearSCADA, as a minimum you need to specify:

• The outstation set with which the controller is associated (Outstation tab)
• The controller address (SE RPC tab)
• The Dynacard Stores that are to store the rod pump data (SE RPC tab)
• The Network properties for a network connected controller (Network tab)
• The Shared properties for a shared controller (Shared tab).

Also ensure that the controller and the database items on which it depends are In Service, and have saved, valid configuration. This will produce an SE Rod Pump controller that is capable of functioning using the default configuration settings.
