Run a Mimic Script
Normally, Mimic scripts are run when a script pick action has been selected. For example, a button on a Mimic can be configured to have a script pick action, so that when the button is selected, the Mimic’s script runs. The vast majority of script functions can only be run in this way. For more information on how to configure such a pick action, see Associate a Mimic Script with a Script Pick Action.
However, there are some exceptions—if you use the Mimic_Load or Mimic_Navigate functions, the script can run without being triggered by a pick action. For more information, see Set a Script to Run when a Mimic is First Displayed in Run Mode.
When a script is running, a script icon will appear on the status bar.
