Case Sensitive Usernames

You can use the Server Configuration Tool’s Case Sensitive Usernames check box to define whether user names are case-sensitive.

By default, the Case Sensitive Usernames check box is disabled , ClearSCADAtreats upper case and lower characters as the same, for example, the character ‘C’ will be used as if it were the same character as ‘c’.

If you select the check box, ClearSCADA regards upper case characters as different to lower case characters. For example, the upper case character ‘C’ is a different character to the lower case ‘c’.
