Define whether a User can Manage Offline Objects

It is possible to take ClearSCADA database items offline, edit them, and re-deploy them in ClearSCADA using custom-built external applications. To do this, you will need an appropriate external application and a user account that has Manage Offline Objects enabled.

To define whether a User can manage items offline by using an external application:

1. Display the User Form
2. Select the General tab.
3. Use the Manage Offline Objects check box to enable or disable the feature as required. (Select to enable, clear to disable).
