Disabling the Exclusive Control Feature

If you do not want the Exclusive Control feature to be available on your system, disable it by completing the steps in this procedure:

  1. Either:
    • On the server, display the Server Configuration Tool by right-clicking on the
      ClearSCADA icon in the system tray, then selecting the Configuration option.

      or:

    • Select the Start menu, then the Programs option, then the Schneider Electric
      ClearSCADA
      option, then the Server Configuration option.
  2. Log on to the Server Configuration via a user account if prompted to do so (see Accessing the ClearSCADA Server Configuration Tool in the ClearSCADA Guide to Server Administration).
  3. Expand the required system and node.
  4. Expand the System Configuration branch.
  5. Select Exclusive Control.
    The Exclusive Control section is displayed
  6. Clear the Enabled check box to deactivate the exclusive control feature.
  7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 inclusive for each node in the system.
  8. When you have made the changes to the server configuration, close the Server Configuration Tool and select the Yes button at the save changes prompt.
