The Guest user account is a built-in user account. It is used whenever a user accesses ClearSCADA via ViewX without logging on. By default, the Guest user has no permissions set and immediately after a new installation you can only log on to the system using a Super User account. You can then change the permissions of the Guest user at a later stage.
NOTE: Some Third Party applications that do not support client security use the Guest user to access ClearSCADA. They require the Guest user account to have at least the Read permission so that they can access system data.
The Guest user account is not available with WebX or Original WebX clients.
