If the items in a Group are set to use a specific set of alarm limits, and then the items will continue using those limits if the Group is moved into another Group—the destination Group's alarm limit settings do not replace those of the moved Group.
If a sub-Group is inheriting its alarm limits from a parent Group, and it is moved to within another Group, the sub-Group will inherit the alarm limits of its new parent Group.
Example:
A Group named 'Northern Region' contains points that use 'Normal Weather' alarm limits.
A Group named 'Southern Region' contains points that use 'Bad Weather' alarm limits.
The 'Southern Region' Group is moved into the 'Northern Region' Group. The points in the 'Southern Region' Group continue to use the 'Bad Weather' alarm limits as they are not affected by the alarm limit settings of the 'Northern Region' Group.
