ClearSCADA will detect a communications failure if a channel has an invalid serial port defined in its configuration. (A port that does not exist on the remote computer).
If a channel has an invalid serial port defined, we recommend that you:
- Change the channel configuration so that it defines an available serial port. (For more information, refer to the driver specific documentation).
