Configure the Partners Settings of a Server
The Server Configuration Tool has a Partners section that you should use to define the server architecture being used on your system.
The Partners section contains:
- Server label— Use to define the Server Label. If no label is defined, this will default to the NetBIOS name of the computer.
- Type—Use to define the type of architecture or server that you are configuring (see Type).
- Standby tab—Use to define the Main and Standby server connection settings (see Standby Tab)
- Permanent Standby tab—Use to define the connection settings for Permanent Standby servers (see Permanent Standby Tab)
- Miscellaneous tab—Use to define the Transfer Interval, Action on Isolated, Arbitration Priority, Heartbeat Timeout, Historic Modified Life, and Historic Annotation Life settings as required (see Miscellaneous Tab).
