Server Logging
Server log files provide information about activity at the server and can be used to help diagnose unexpected situations on your system, such as unrecognized client requests, errors caused by lack of disk space etc.
If you contact Schneider Electric for support, you may be asked to provide server log files. In the following sections, we explain how to configure your system for server logging and how to create and view server log files:
- Define the Server Logging Settings
- Enable or Disable Server Logging
- Enable or Disable Exception Dumps
- Define the Location of Server Log Files and Exception Dumps
- Store New Log Files in One Folder
- Filter the Content of the Server Log Files
- Display a Server Log File.
For information on Snapshot log files, see Server Snapshot Log Files.
